Ann Arbor’s small, nonprofit swimming pool is undertaking its biggest capital campaign in 65 years.

Our goal is $250,000, and we’ve already raised $100,000 in the first phase — thank you.

Now, we’re working to raise the remaining $150,000. Every dollar given by May 15 will reduce the loan needed to cover final construction costs.

This major community donation drive will finish our ambitious new pool construction and seed clubhouse renovations. Every dollar that we collect will protect the future of this essential neighborhood hub.

Construction has been underway on the new Forestbrooke Pool since Closing Day 2025. Demolition moved quickly, but a harsh winter added many delays until we committed to a giant tent that kept the work moving amid snow and freezing temps. Soon after the tiles were laid, the pool was filled with water – now we have a glimpse of our next era. We are now on track to open for the 2026 season!

While we say “goodbye” to our beloved 65 year old pool, we are excited to take our first dip in the new and improved pool that will serve our community for generations to come.
