POOL RULES

  • All guests need to be registered with a member and paid for at the office.
  • State law requires a shower before entering the pool. Please use restrooms as needed.
  • A first aid kit is located in the guard office. An emergency phone is located in the guard office.
  • Maximum Occupancy, including deck, is not to exceed 177 persons.
  • Admission is refused to a person:
    • Having any contagious disease or infectious conditions, such as colds, fever, ringworm, foot infections, or any other condition that has the appearance of being infectious.
    • Having excessive sunburn, abrasions that have not healed, corn plaster, bunion pads, adhesive tape, rubber bandages, or other bandages of any kind.
    • Under the influence of alcohol, illegal substances, or exhibiting erratic behavior.
  • Tobacco, or vapor producing products, shall not be allowed, other than in specially designated areas of the facility.
  • Personal conduct within the facility shall assure that the safety of self and others is not jeopardized.
  • Running and boisterous or rough play is not permitted, except for supervised water sports.
  • Spitting, spouting of water, blowing the nose, or otherwise introducing contaminants into the facility
    water shall not be permitted.
  • Glass, hazardous objects, or other materials that create hazardous conditions or interfere with efficient operation of the facility, shall not be permitted in the facility or on the deck.
  • No animals or pets allowed in the pool.
  • All bathing apparel worn in the facility shall be clean. Persons wearing street clothes and shoes are not permitted in the pool.
  • Caution shall be exercised in the use of diving board.
  • Service animals may be allowed in the deck area but shall be excluded from the water.
  • The temperature of the pool water shall not exceed 86°F.
  • Children under 12 years of age must be supervised by a responsible adult (parent or caregiver).
  • No food is allowed, at any time, within the swimming pool or swimming pool enclosure.
  • Beverages are allowed within the pool enclosure only, in non-glass containers. Beverages are not allowed in the pool.
  • Dispose of all beverage containers and associated trash in the provided waste and recycle receptacles.
  • Lap lanes are for swimming laps only.
  • No hanging on lane markers or ladder.
  • Swim UNDER a lane marker, not over.
  • Kick boards are for kicking practice only, not for splashing, or standing on.
  • Diving in shallow water (less than 5ft. deep) shall not be permitted. Diving is allowed only in the deep end. No diving backwards, or flips off the edge.
  • Pool hours are posted in the lobby due to changing schedules of school and swim teams.
  • Upon passing a Deep End Test, children rising to 3rd grade and older may come to the pool unaccompanied by an adult.
  • After 6:00 pm, all children 5th grade and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
    Rising 6th graders and older may stay unaccompanied.

DIVING BOARD RULES

  • Do not dive if you are:
    • under the influence of alcohol;
    • controlled substances, whether prescription or illegal;
    • exhibiting erratic behavior.
  • Running and boisterous or rough play is not permitted.
  • No diving except in designated areas.
  • Use of the diving board outside of diving practice is at the discretion of the lifeguard on duty.
  • Exercise caution and avoid rough play on the diving board or ladder.
  • One person at a time on the diving board or ladder.
  • Exit the diving area immediately after diving.
  • Go straight off diving board; do not angle toward sides of pool.
